This group earned almost 700 likes for their fun and festive St. Patrick's Day picture! WE are so excited to reward them with a $100 check for their success! They could not have won a more fitting contest being an Irish Dance Team. Luck (and numbers) were certainly on their side. This group currently holds the record for the most likes!

February 29 Noodle of the Week Contest

Tammy Betty HannHarlan earned over 30 likes for her great noodle and won $50 for her group! Her idea is: "The best thing we have done is take our brochures to the Animal Rescue groups and Veterans groups in our area and sent them messages online so they would order the WONDERFUL ANIMAL SHAPES and America/Support our troops PASTA ..We have sold tons online because of this ! Thanks we love this FUN RAISER !!!!"

"We Fundraise Because..." Photo Contest

Winner: Science Dept.

Mrs. Jennifer Kieffer and her group beat out a lot of other great entries with their photo and the caption, "We fundraise because we want to have that once in a lifetime experience of being licked by a giraffe." They earned 110 likes for this photo! Congratulations and we are so happy so send the group $100 to help with their fundraising efforts!

January 16th Noodle of the Week

Winner: Garden State Players

With 32 votes the Garden State Players won another $50! They are on a winning streak with 2 in a row! Congratulations to the group and their leader Lauren Matthews Raad who keeps working hard and coming up with great entries! Her "Noodle of the Week" was:

"We just finished up a successful fun pasta fundraiser by having the cast of our show, The Ever After - A Musical, ask their parents, relatives and friends to support our theater company. We took pictures of the pasta to share online and also made a video of the kids singing about how delicious it is. We also let everyone know how many exciting and unique pasta choices are available based on the individual personalities of the supporter. For instance, the music teacher was told specifically about the music pasta. The pet lover was directed to the pet pasta options. You get the idea. The goal is to know your audience because there is a special fun pasta to delight and excite everyone! :-)"

Holiday Popularity Contest

Winner: Garden State Players

In our Holiday Popularity Contest we posted all the entries to our "Pastafy your Favorite Holiday Song or Dance" contest to our Facebook Page. The video with the most "likes" on their video throughout the holidays was declared the winner and rewarded a $50 check towards their fundraiser! Garden State Players had 169 "likes" for their video! Congratulations! Silver Spring Dance Conservatory was a close second with 150 "likes" This was such a fun contest and we are sure it will become a tradition! Thanks to all that participated!

Pastafy your Favorite Holiday Song or Dance

Winner: Columbus Children's Choir

The Columbus Children's Choir won $400 for their Pastafied Holiday song, taking home the largest prize of the year! Not only did they win our contest, but the next day they were off to the White House to sing in some Holiday Celebration! Congratulations to this tremendous group of young boys and girls! The Runner-Up was DDC gymnasitcs for their 12 Days of Christmas, and Jordan Bauder with Washington DC or Bust came in third! Thanks to everyon who participated and we hope to see even more entries next year!

November 9th Noodle of the Week

Shanna M. Singleton with the Southwestern Hit Club won $50 with her idea of being an excited and energetic leader! "The best kept secret in fundraising s having a leader that is excited about you fundraiser.They set goals, mange progress and encourages each member to sell the most product possible." The Noodliest Costume Contest

Claire Starke with Troop 394 won The Noodliest Costume Contest with her Chicken Noodle Soup get-up! Her outfit was creative, fun and combined Fun Pasta with Halloween so well! We wish we had thought of the costume first! Congratulations Claire! She earned $100 for her costume!

Fun Pasta Party Photo and Video Contest in Honor of World Pasta Day

LCCHS Pasta Step Routine is the winner this fun and original contest! They earned $200 towards their fundraising efforts for this fun video! Click on the video to take a look! Get inspired and you too can make a difference for your group!

October 10th Noodle of the Week

Go personally door to door in your neighborhood with pasta brochure. Explain to the individual what the money they are spending on pasta is going towards (i.e. Smile Train). Once you explain that you have a purpose for your fundraising they will have more incentive to purchase some delicious pasta! Be kind, informative, and SMILE :)

September 26th Noodle of the Week

A good fundraising tip is to have a good goal and a good cause. If customers know that all of our profit goes towards the Smile Train, they are more likely to buy our pasta than if we only tell them that we are our school's Iota Sigma Christian Club. When customers know that their money is going to do something worthwhile, they are more likely to buy more PASTA :)

Make a handout to give out to your PTO members and other group members during the kick-off or an open house. Such a handout will compliment a nice display of the samples and catalogs!
